Excursions

Ethnographic Complex “Ukrainian Village” invites you to attend observatory excursions on the territory of “Ukrainian Village”.

The excursion includes visiting:

• St. Demetrius of Thessalonica Church;
• Authentic interiors of three traditional huts from Hutsulshchyna, Middle Dnieper, and Polissya Regions;
• Pottery, forge shop, and distillery.

Excursions for schoolchildren

We offer exciting excursion program for schoolchildren to the traditional Ukrainian village.

Schoolchildren will familiarize themselves with everyday life and architecture of Hutsulshchyna, Slobozhanshchyna, and Ukrainian Southern Region of the 19^th century.

Our museum, unlike the others, provides access not only to an anteroom, but also to a bright room, a pantry, and utility structures. Children will be allowed to sit on the benches at the table, touch the museum pieces that emit energy of our glorious forefathers.

“Ukrainian Village” is:

• Functional church and authentic huts from six different regions of Ukraine;
• Neat compact territory;
• Folk handicrafts master classes;
• Souvenir shop;
• Meals: snacks or fixed meals;
• Hall for graduation parties, class days, birthdays celebrations;
• Open-air picnics;
• Playgrounds;
• Clear water from three springs and comfortable water closets;
• Weight and height measuring with issuance of a corresponding certificate;
• Mini-zoo.

Duration: one hour and a half.

We work daily all the year round 9:00 to 18:00.
